Tom verifies the mechanical and electrical integrity of all antique, vintage and custom lamps by performing a thorough evaluation and testing process. This final check ensures that each lamp is working as intended and is safe to use in residential installations.
Shipping and handling fees for each order are based on the item(s), shipping material and the delivery destination. We ship all lamps to North American addresses (US, Canada, Mexico) using the best materials for the particular lamp. We do not mark up charges if a shipper, such as PakMail, is used. International shipping is accommodated on an individual basis.
We insure every lamp leaving our workshop against shipping damage or loss. SAVE ALL YOUR SHIPPING AND PACKING MATERIALS IF THERE IS DAMAGE!
Please thoroughly inspect your lamp as soon as it arrives. If something was damaged in shipping, please contact both the carrier and Tom’s Vintage Lamp Repair. We will make every effort to resolve the situation to your satisfaction. Please do not ship the lamp back to us until we have spoken about the damage and approved return shipping. All claims for shipping damage must be made within 7 days of the lamp’s delivery.
Tom thoroughly inspects any return. He will contact you if the shipping damage can be repaired and if it is too damaged for restoration. If an error on our part directly caused the shipping damage, we will pay all shipping and handling costs involved with the return/repair. Otherwise, we do not refund shipping and handling charges if the damage is caused by the carrier.
